Magdalene Court Shortlisted for Housing Innovation Award
Derwentside Homes have entered their recently completed Magdalene Court sheltered housing scheme into the National Housing Innovation Awards and have been shortlisted for the category of Most Innovitave Supported/Sheltered Housing Scheme. Blake Hopkinson Architecture would like to congratulate everyone involved in the project and will be keeping everything crossed when the awards are held on the 9th of May in Manchester.

Simon Rutter becomes new Associate at BHA
Simon Rutter, formerly at Ryder Architecture for 16 years has joined Blake Hopkinson Architecture this month as Associate. After delivering a significant number of commercial and retail projects in the North East and Scotland, Simon brings a wealth of talent and experience to the practice. Darren Blake and James Hopkinson welcolmed the oportunity to bring Simon on board and hope his appointment will prove to be a rewarding experience for him and help open new doors for the practice in the future.
